Putting Maps on the Web with LunaMap
Monday, September 23, 2024
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EST
LunaMap Enterprise is LunaGeo’s webGIS that integrates with our cloud-based GIS servers. It is designed with small and medium sized enterprise (SME) environments in mind. Having worked extensively with these types of organizations, we know what most need in a basic webGIS viewer. They need:
- An easy interface to manage layers and maps.
- Authentication so that some maps can be private and some can be public.
- Basic tools to interact with spatial data (e.g. identify, search, filter).
- The ability to print maps.
- The ability to export tabular and spatial data.
- Predictable pricing with a single, transparent price (i.e. to surprises as you scale up).
This webinar will introduce participants to all aspects of LunaMap, notably how spatial data can be organized into various workspaces and shared via maps. Specifically, we will demonstrate the following:
- Configure LunaMap with custom branding.
- Publish vector layers from PostGIS.
- Publish raster layers from Geoserver.
- Create private and public workspaces in LunaMap.
- Create Public and Private Maps.
- View maps publicly and within private workspaces.
