Course Description

Building upon Introduction to QGIS, Advanced QGIS I introduces participants to additional functionality in QGIS. Through eight tutorials, participants learn how to (1) geoprocess using the graphical modeler, (2) georeference scanned maps, (3) geocode a list of addresses, (4) process and extract imagery (e.g. mosaicing rasters), (5) conduct density analysis to produce heatmaps, (6) use network analysis to create distance isolines, (7) generate new geometries, and (8) produce high quality map outputs.
